This was probably the worst film I have ever seen..I think it was poorly directed and I was so bored after 25 minutes, nothing was funny..and the editing was poor, that I thought of leaving the cinema..

The second half of the film was marginally better but lost it's plot totally and all that "free"advertising for Coke and Pepsi made the film look cheap!!

I didn't think Jennifer Gardener was any good at all. I think she didn't do herself ANY favours by starring in this film at all. Quite the opposite actually.

I cant stand her now...as she tried to be witty but she ain't a comedy actress by any stretch of imagination..Just has a funny mouth and a weird walk!!!

Then all the cameo appearances of Gervais's mates was a BAD idea..It wasn't funny and certainly not a clever thing to do...The script was appalling and Ricky Gervais as a director..hmmmm???...well, what can i say..???

He should have stopped at "The Office"and the occasional stand up comedy acts..
I gave it ONE star, but even that seems too much..
Yuck!!

Contrary to the last "reviewer", I thought the film had its limitations - quite a few contradictions in the plot - but was actually very funny in lots of places, and definitely worth a viewing.

I'd expected a little more from Mr G, but when you have The Office in your back catalogue, that's a lot to live up to.

As for Jennifer GARNER she didn't have the most demanding role to play out, but i fear there's very little she can do about her "funny mouth" despite being a talented actress...

it cant be the worse film you've seen.
you saw it advertised on the television & decided to see it, so it must have been good to go and see it.
