After three films that disappointed me with Spy Game, Man on Fire and Deja Vu, action maestro Tony Scott has finally come up with a film that makes a fine action movie. I loved the book of this and although this new adaptation doesn't quite match the original 1974 film, I would say it's almost every bit as good and is packed with non-stop thrills. I loved the way Scott has moved the setting from a mainline train to a New York subway train. It's a thriller of masterful suspense combined with simply brilliant action-sequences. Both John Travolta and Denzel Washington are outstanding and in the end The Taking of Pelham 123 thoroughly impresses. A stylish thrill ride that when you finish watching you feel absolute blown away by a majestic enthralling experience.

I have just been to see this film. it was the best film i have been to see ever. i would recommend The Taking Of Pelham 123 to anyone who was going to the cinema.

Its action packed and has a element of suspense which keeps you interested in the film to the end. Both John Travolta and Denzel Washington played very engaging roles and should recieve awards for them.
