I think the reviewer who reviewed this is a little prudy!

I went with my boyfriend and we had a great time - my boyfriend really enjoyed it and we didn't think it was too crass - there was a good humour throughout and I though Gerard Butler was great.

I suppose if you don't like sexual innuendos and humour then this may not be for you but it's only how the blokes down the pub speak! I suppose I must be one of the lads!!

It was a feel good funny film and great for both blokes and women! I have not seen PS I love you or 27 dresses so I cannot compare this film to them but as a film in it's own right it's a fun film for a good night out!

I agree, i notice the original reviewer was female. If you watch this film you will understand why she is offended! The truth hurts!

The ugly truth is a great film, funny, immensely enjoyable. Woman should watch this, and i really recommend that you do, because you will learn alot about men and women. As a male living in London, i find that the words of wisdom about dating in a large city run true. Alot of women choose "money over substance, looks over soul, polish over principles".
If you are a man, you should watch this film for no other reason, than that the lady who reviewed this gave it such low marks!
If you are a girl., watch it and see if like Helen you can actually understand and deal with the way a man thinks.
This film is educational.
