For those who haven't seen this movie, DO NOT LISTEN TO THE CRITIC REVIEWS!!!! I do not now how much i can stress that.

This movie is great and i believe, surpassed the first movie in many ways. Many critics blame racism and poor story for their terrible and misguiding reviews.

Sure, I will admit the characters "Skids" and "Mudflap" can appear a racist ( At least more than Jar Jar Binks, I still do not understand that one), but their accusations of poor story and bad humor are totally untrue.

In my opinion, the story is deeper than the first movie, and the humor can be funny at times if you look at it from a younger perspective.

Critics also complain that the story is confusing, but I disagree in every sense of the word.

I never got lost or confused, period. Boredom is another complaint; I thought the simple yet deep story kept me entertained until the major action scenes came up on the screen.

I loved this movie and when i got home i was disgusted with all the critic reviews. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM!!! =)

You are an idiot......

It was boring, cheesy, confusing, over-the-top, pretencious and did i mention boring?

Apart from Megan Fox and Isabel Lucas in the same room with a bed, it has to be the most ridiculous attempt at a story i have seen in my life.

everyone keeps on going on the movie doesn't make sense. but the thing is if u remember it its not Bays fault he is merely having to copy the original story line of the movie from cartoon series etc. and from that i feel that Bay has done a good job, so don't listen to all those freaks saying it doesn't make sense because that's the way the cartoon series was set out.
I enjoyed the movie, it was funny and there was a lot of action to it

I saw Transformers ROTF last night. Although; the story was crazy, the humour was in some parts too stupid, the film became confusing at points and the robot to audience connection was far less than in the first movie I thouroughly enjoyed this. I don't want to spoil anything for our American friends but be prepared for the first scene in Shanghai. In my eyes that part blows you away. What a great way to start the movie. It jumps straight in and hits you in the face with action from the off. The forest fight scene is also a mega deathmatch, although I would like to see it in Imax due to there being a longer cut for fighting in that version. Don't listen to the haters, listen here - Transformers 2 is a whirlpool of plot holes but you know what? Just enjoy it for what it is.
4 Stars.
Oh and by the way, Jetfire rules.

To be expected: The plot nuances which made the first film were discarded in this one. A stripped-down adolescent toy-show.

What the plot should have looked like, in my view:

1. The military should not have been working with the transformers. As aliens, they would be held under suspicion.

2. The human actors should have been in the foreground, not the background, as in the first film!

3. More ideas. Any idea would have done.

4. Less alien background: surprisingly, many people are not interested in the history of the robots.

5. Keep adolescents away from the script!
