Truly worthy of its Oscar nomination, this cleverly crafted film asks all the right questions (and gives the right answers) relating to relationships and today's 'work crazed' society. Im not usually a Clooney fan (unlike my wife!), but even I could appreciate his acting skills in this.

Brilliantly directed and edited, by turns sharp and witty or touching and thought-provoking. Clooney is great, and so is Farmiga. The film somehow manages to work as both rom-com and morality tale, balancing satire and documentary-style realism. Only rarely does it teeter off the edge into simplistic mode. I will look forward to seeing it again (I think it's worth seeing for the opening credits alone).

Badly directed, rather like wading through syrup, very little wit, certainly no comparison to Cary Grant, They really are a different species ( Americans). and as Churchill said, divided by a common language. As for seeing it again , why?
