I am organising a hen party in London for the weekend of July 30th 2011. I am considering the whole Burlesque theme starting with a class in the afternoon, followed by dinner and a show in a Burlesque club...then onto dancing/another club.

I am a little overwhelmed with the offerings in London and am wondering if there are any Burlesque clubs that provide a nice dinner/entertainment and then turn into a typical club night or have these offerings or would we need to move on elsewhere for this? Whilst I think a Burlesque style dinner/cabaret would be great I would also like to be able to boogie around a dancefloor to some cheesey pop.

Any tips/recommendations would be very welcome.

On another note, the Burlesque club review son here have such mixed reviews, any other recommednations would eb great.

I've just been to Proud Cabaret by Fenchurch street, there were a couple of hen parties there, although i wasnt included in one. The night i thought was fantastic from the moment i walked through the door i was put at ease (as not sure what quite to expect) and made to feel so welcome. The staff would crouch or sit at the table with you whilst going through the cocktail lists/ taking an order or simply checking in that you're enjoying the night so far. The food was very well presented and tasted devine considering i chose foods that i'd never eaten before and the overall price for the evening i thought was reasonable and more to the point worth it. During all this came the acts...a little bit of naughtiness without being sleazy.

I hope ive helped in some way.
