Cheap pubs/bars near South Kensington Station

hi There, I've just moved into my godmothers flat in South Ken/Kinghtsbridge and as you'd expect, everything around here is very expensive! I'm from up north and so I'm used to a cheaper pint - has anyone got any suggestions for places that are within walking distance of the south ken or knightsbridge station that aren't too bad price wise?

Any advice would be great - cheers.

i would like to live douwn there and i wouldf like to know hows winter down there nd how are the houses????????
