Saki bars are generally Japanese style bars that serve saki - a traditional Japanese spirit that can be served hot or cold. It's a bit like Marmite really - you either love it or hate it. Hope that helps.

I went to an amazing Saki bar recently called Mizu. Its in Paddington i think and it was such a fun evening. i hadnt tried saki before but it was quite nice, and the mystery factor made it more enjoyable. I would give it a go!

YUM Saki. I've only ever had it in restaurants before; the thought of a bar never occurred to me, but will most certainly be heading to one in the near future ;-)

Most of the Saki bars in London are attached to or part of a restaurant, but you can still go just for the drinks. Its not really to my tastes but there are some very established venues like Sumosan, Zuma and Mizu that would be worth a try.
