Harrow Fireworks Display

Although there is no Harrow fireworks display taking place in 2009, residents can take part in a small scale Diwali celebration to mark the Festival of Lights in traditional style. The Diwali event features dances and spiritual speeches to bring a family friendly atmosphere to the evening.

Festival of Lights

While the Harrow fireworks display is always a popular event, unfortunately it will not be taking place for Bonfire Night 2009. However, the Harrow Civic Centre is hosting a small and intimate Diwali celebration that is free to attend.

Traditional entertainment

The Diwali celebration offers the perfect antidote to the colder weather that’s coming in and the onset of those darker evenings. With refreshments and catering for up to 200 people, the Diwali event is free to attend, but you must reserve your tickets in advance.

Diwali 2009

With a family friendly atmosphere and spiritual celebrations for Diwali, the Harrow event is another welcome addition to the Festival of Light celebrations. There is only space for up to 200 people at the event, so make sure you book in advance for the chance to take part in the spiritual celebrations.

While there is no Harrow fireworks display in 2009, the Diwali celebrations featuring dance and speeches takes place on Sunday 25th October 2009 at Harrow Civic Centre, Station Road. Doors open at 6.30pm. Admission is free, but you must book your tickets in advance by calling 020 8863 5838.
