Steve Borthwick has said the time has come for England to start focussing on the positives of their game following a hard-fought win against Wales in the Six Nations.
Speaking about the 30-17 victory at Twickenham, Borthwick said in the past there had been a lot of focus on the "bad things" about England's play but declared Saturday's win should lead to more time being spent on addressing what went right.
The England captain refused to get too carried away though and said the team would go about dealing with the important win in the "right manner", adding: "We will go away and work very hard to be a better team.
"You've got to earn every win, and that's what we've got to do."
Borthwick told reporters he was especially happy for the England fans following the win against Wales, praising their continual support and the electric atmosphere created at Twickenham.
The captain also came in for praise from England manager Martin Johnson for his performance during the game, especially in the lead-up to Danny Care's try at the start of the second half.
