Two EastEnders are set to storm the West End stage in a play on the day bombers struck London.
James Alexandrou and Ray Panthaki will appear in a comedy titled In My Name staged at Trafalgar Studios.
The play, which follows three supermarket workers having a night in with booze at Alexandrou's flat on July 7th, will move to its West End venue having been a sold-out success at the Old Red Lion Theatre in Islington.
Alexandrou, who has recently been photographed as part of Amy Winehouse's circle of party pals, joined the cast of EastEnders at the age of 11 and played Martin Fowler for ten years.
Panthaki, who played one of the short lived Ferreira family on the Albert Square soap, also has Ali G Indahouse, 28 Days Later and Kidulthood to his name.
Meanwhile former cast members of the soap have spilled out across the London stages. Jessie Wallace and Gary McDonald are to star in Haunted, which opens at the Arts Theatre next week (May 24th), Nigel Harman is in The Common Pursuit at the Menier Chocolate Factory and Letitia Dean will appear in High School Musical.
