American rapper Eminem has been flexing his credit card in London this week, turning heads in the capital as he splashed the cash on lavish shopping trips.

The 36-year-old recording artist and Oscar winner concealed his famous face with a Mexican wrestling mask as he shopped in London's Covent Garden at the weekend, reports reveal.

Eminem, also known as Slim Shady, walked around London browsing in a comic book and memorabilia shop as well as popular Oxford Street department store Selfridges.

The rapper is currently in London to promote his new album Relapse, after being out of the limelight for five years.

Marshall Mathers recently opened up about his struggle with drug addiction after entering rehab in 2005.

We Made You, the album's official debut single has been well-received, topping charts all over the world.

Last year, Eminem released a candid autobiography entitled The Way I Am, documenting his controversial rise to fame.
