London Fashion Week has begun in style with celebrities, designers and fashion fanatics all flocking to the capital to spy out the latest trends.
Yesterday saw the action kick off with TopShop unveiling its latest collection and Ireland's Paul Costelloe presenting designs for spring-summer 2009.
Over the next five days the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Julien Macdonald, Paul Smith, Luella Bartley and Giles Deacon will be showing off their wears to an eager audience.
Among the famous faces in the crowd yesterday were sisters Pixie and Peaches Geldof, who enjoyed front row seats at Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker's PPQ show.
Last week, it was revealed that Nancy Dell'Olio will be launching a new nightwear range at the big event.
In an interview with the Telegraph she said that there are a "few very glamorous, very sophisticated pieces of underwear".
"For me, there are always two principal rooms in a house: the kitchen and the bedroom," she said. "But of the two the bedroom is more me, I think. That's why I decided to create my own nightwear."
According to the British Fashion Council, London Fashion week boosts the capital's economy by a massive £20 million.
