Jay-Z may have 99 problems, but thrilling his fans twice on the trot ain't one.

The rapper, whose Glastonbury performance was hailed as a spectacular riposte to naysaying rock and rollers, played London's O2 Wireless festival in Hyde Park supported by the likes of Marc Ronson.

Without Noel Gallagher to parody, Jay Z simply played a thunderous set relying on his own verbal talents and some borrowed tunes.

Buoyed by the buzz surrounding his performance in a muddy field at the weekend the fans lapped up his rap.

And his success is carried over to music sales. According to CMU music 99 Problems and Encore, old songs of the hip-hop mogul's are set to make it into the UK's top 40 this weekend.

Even sales of Wonderwall, the Oasis song Jay-Z parodied in his intro in Glastonbury have shot up 200 per cent.

And, the connection between the rapper ant the rocker could continue, as Jay Z revealed to MTV that he'd be open to collaboration.

He said: "I haven't spoken to him (but) I heard he was reaching out... I don't bear any grudge, it's all good."
