London foodies set for gastronomic treat

Tickets for the upcoming London Restaurant Festival went on sale yesterday (August 26th) offering foodies the chance to sample the wares of some of the capital's top eateries.

As part of the autumn gastronomic event, Londoners can dine out on a unique Gourmet Odyssey through Soho, Pall Mall, Piccadilly and Park Lane.

Simon Davis, director of the London Restaurant Festival, said: "We've had a tremendous amount of positive feedback from both restaurants and members of the public.

"We also have over 400 restaurants set to join next month, so the site is going to be a great place to inspire visitors to pick restaurants they may not have tried before."

London restaurants involved in the food festival include A-list favourites The Ivy, Nobu, Scott's and Theo Randall.

Celebrity chefs Richard Corrigan, Tim Hughes and Fergus Henderson are among the capital's culinary masters cooking up a storm in October, from the ultimate Sunday lunch to a la carte sample courses.
