Peaches Geldof was reportedly given the kiss of life by a friend as paramedics rushed to her London home.

Sir Bob Geldof's daughter reportedly stopped breathing for several minutes and a friend had to administer first aid, but by the time the paramedics arrived, she was well enough to remain at home, the Sun reports.

A spokesman for the London ambulance service said: "We were called on Sunday at 4.45pm to an address in N1 to reports of a female patient taken ill."

He added that she had not required hospital treatment.

Despite the episode, Peaches seemed to have recovered enough to attend the Dark Knight premiere in Leicester Square.

She recently sparked rumours that she was getting married to boyfriend Farris Rotter, by wearing a ring shaped like a Scrabble square with the letter F on her engagement finger.

Kelly Osbourne, who was at the Dark Knight premiere, also sparked wedding rumours after she was spotted wearing a ring on her engagement finger.
