The wife of the prime minister, Sarah Brown, has guest edited an edition of the News of the World magazine, Fabulous.
The special publication will appear on July 19th and is reported to focus on raising awareness of women's health issues.
The edition is believed to feature an interview with Jools Oliver, the wife of TV chef Jamie Oliver, complied by Mrs Brown.
The prime minister's wife said editing the magazine had been a "brilliant new experience".
"I believe it's vital to share information with as many women as possible across Britain - information that helps us enjoy greater health, to be body aware, to have fun and enjoy life," she added.
Mrs Brown is the patron of health research charity Wellbeing of Women (WoW) and has launched a series of campaigns aimed at highlighting women's health issues.
News of the World deputy editor Jane Johnson said she hoped the "unique collaboration" involving the paper and the prime minister's wife would help raise awareness.
Mrs Brown has been a firm presence in the media landscape over the last few weeks, including attending Glastonbury festival, going on the Gay Pride march this weekend and using the social-messaging website Twitter to describe her experiences.
