Security staff at Nike Town in Oxford Circus have been stabbed after a gang of youths allegedly stole items from the store.
Police were called at approx 19:10 BST on Saturday after reports that two men injured in the popular London shopping area Oxford Street.
The first victim, 33, was stabbed in the left arm and lower back and taken to hospital. His condition is said to be stable. The second victim, 21, was stabbed in the leg and was treated at the scene.
In addition, a 22-year-old female member of security staff was punched in the face.
A statement from the Metropolitan Police said: "At this early stage it appears a number of males - around eight - allegedly stole items of clothing from the Nike Town store and were followed out by security staff.
"There was an altercation outside the store between several of the suspects and staff and subsequently one member of security staff was stabbed in the left arm and lower back; and another was stabbed in the leg.
"Only one of the suspects produced a knife and he was responsible for the injuries to both men."
He lost his t-shirt and was last seen running shirtless up Oxford St towards the Tottenham Court Road end.
The suspects are though to be aged early to mid-teens - some black and some white.
