A host of UK celebrities are lending their time and support to London's campaign against climate change.
From A-list actors such as Richard E Grant and Emma Thompson to fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, high profile stars are backing Boris Johnson's new public consultation on a climate change adaptation strategy.
The mayor said: "To improve our quality of life, care for our planet and save money from our pockets, we need to adapt our homes and workplaces, moving London to an energy efficient future.
"This cannot be tackled only with top down solutions from politicians but through a collective response."
One in six Londoners live and work on floodplains, however, only one in five at risk has signed up to the Environment Agency's free warning service.
The draft climate change mitigation and energy will be open to public consultation this summer with a final version expected late 2010?.
