This place was a WASTE OF TIME! We went there last night, Saturday 6th of Sep. 2008. We were 3 guys on the guest list - we got in, no problem. 20 pounds per person to get in, a total overkill for that club. Design was average, one VIP lounge was nice, but empty. The club had about 20 girls who were paid by a promoter to entertain the guests. That just did not work out at all. A few of them were really nice and polite, however, the athmostphere was just strange, since we had to think all the time, which girl is "paid" to be there and which one is a normal guest there. The bartenders poured very mild drinks, by pouring mixer and liquor simultaneously - basically the old trick from Tom Cruise´s movie "Cocktail

I am from Chicago and have struggled to find a decent place that serves a Polish Martini. Then I came across 20 Last weekend.

Fabulous Night with a great crowd. The highlight was the Bar Tender making such an amazing Polish Martini. Well Done to all at 20 !

I have been a regular at this venue and so have a lot of my firnds since April, I have found the staff to be very helpful, the venue lovely, I can only think that perhaps you just were unlucky. I know all clubs do not allow too many men in and on occasion will refuse entry to unsuitable or drunk people.. Give it another try! I am sure you will not be disappointed!! Check the girl from New Yorks review & Martin's they liked it too, so I am not the only one!

In reply to lil man down there darran?!?! I DIDNT SEE anyone whering polo tops as no casual wear was allowed in and how would you know what a building site guy looks like unless u r one yourself... yes there were alot of drunk girls in the v.i.p room all of which were getting filled up with drinks from ugly dudes trying to get laid! The stars from the soap awards looked like they were enjoying themselves and my group of chicks n lads were all buying their own champain and spirits. Organiser was unorganised and all the other reviews prove it!!! thank you and good night.

People have eyes and can see what other people are. i know a building site 'guy' when i see one and i am a girl and dont work on a building site. moral of my story GROW UP! - Report

The biggest steaming pile of poo ever to grace London. Staff have NO grasp of basic manners and politeness especially when dealing with paying customers. Clientle are a bunch of wanna be WAGS. Just avoid it. Please.

I went to 20 church street on saturday and i must say the security were rude, the door staff were also very rude and up their own arses for what reasons i dont know. I was on the guest list which was lucky for me but even then i got treated like i wasnt on it until my host came out of the club and got me!! I felt sorry for half of the crowd waiting outside which were about 20 people strong. Some of which waited hours to get to the front only to be given excuses about why they would not be let in. Whatever happend to customer service its obvious this establishment doesnt want any return business or satisfied clubbers. I was invited to a party in the V.I.P room, which i must say had lovely decor. It's ashame the club doesnt take notice of what V.I.P means and treat the clientle accordingly. Our party of people were constantly interupted by unorganised promoters and bouncers trying to usher our group of at least 15 people might i add, to different parts of the room that suited them!??! The V.I.P room at times it was very over crowded you couldnt dance let alone walk to the bar! i have been an avid fan of local bars and clubs as i am a local myself but i would never go back here and would advise people not to waste your money or time!! The only good thing was the v.i.p room dj Montana...

Went here on Friday night in a group of 4 girls and was disgusted by the treatment by the lady on the door. Utterly rude and unfair. We were on the guestlist, but when we arrived we were told we would not be let in until we went away for 20 mins and 'sobered up', even though 2 of us do not even drink, and the other 2 had barely had time to finish a small glass of wine each before we arrived at the club. We were told we would be guaranteed comps if we came back after 20 mins. So even though they were way off mark asking 4 sober girls to sober up, we waited out in the cold for 20 mins and then went back to the entrance, and were told again, they would not let us in unless we went away again for another 20 mins and got some coffee! Ridiculous in itself as no coffee shops are open past 10.30pm anyway. We were totally disgusted at this behaviour. There was no way were waiting out in the cold for another 30 mins for no reason at all, so we walked to the nearby Kensington roof club gardens, where we entered with no problems at all, even though we were not on the guestlist, and ended up having an amazing night there. Clearly the doorstaff at Roof Gardens have some manners, and are not accustomed to accusing 4 clearly sober girls of being in an unfit state to enter their club. Avoid the pretentiousness of 20 Kensington Church Street unless you want to be made to wait out in the cold for half the night for no valid reason.

I agree, i actually promoted a night for this club last week. and i will never work or return there EVER again,.
One of my V.I.Ps arrived early before my guestlist was at the door and the treatment from the doorstaff was absolutely discuting, they rudely told him to wait in line even though he had already spoke with a lady the door,
they then out right refused to let him in.
I then arrived and i explained that i ran a guestlist for the club and i needed to speak with the organizer about the situation and the idiotic boucers told me, he had never seen me beofre and to wait in line.
then the other doorman came up and asked me to go away.
I am never working for this club again and i urge people not to visit this place.
Its rude, over rated and there are plenty of nicer places to go with nicer people working there.

I was very disappointed, sad last night because of club 20. It was a joint birthday me and my friend and we put the names of our guest a week before the event, however some of my friends weren't allowed in. the bouncer claimed that they were to many boys in the club even though my group had more girls and our numbers would have been even if they let the four boys inside. I tried to persuade the bouncer of those facts but he didn't listen to me claiming that I'm not listing when it was the other way around. Then I had to tell the boys to go after the bouncer told me they are not coming so I could stay in the cold if I want or go inside, I thought that was very rude however I couldn't leave because the rest of my friends were inside. The story doesn't finish the music stopped for half hour, then it went back in one of the rooms and it stopped in the VIP no one apologised or explained what was happening we were promised a mix of music that didn't happen also. I could say they ruined my birthday and they didn't even apologise but they were rude about the whole thing. My advise is confirm your booking with the management and be clear about your group as this could change as we experienced.
