THIS BAR HAS CLOSED DOWN. I tried to go this week, when I finally found the entrance it wasn't open. I called and the bar upstairs answered, and said it had shut down. I suggested he mention this on the 22 Below website and put a sign on the door to which he said "I don't control that door."Hopefully others won't waste their time like I did!

Had my hen do drinks here and the drinks were very nice, the two guys on bar duty were wicked and helped make the night a blast with their willingness to put up with drunken hens! Also had a few platters of food and really tasty for bar food. The cocktail master class although simple, was really fun for the whole ground and everyone loved being behind the bar.

This is my first review ever I have made. Do you know why? Its because this bar has really made me so utterly satisfied with the quality of drinks, ambiance and their friendliness of staff.

After a horrible day in a messed up booking in another bar. I decided to visit this bar since it was nearby. I did not have any booking, however the people were kind enough to squeeze in me and two of my friends in for a drink.

I don't know its a racist thing being of another skin color in a bar/club environment around London, this bar really made me felt comfortable. I was overwhelmed by how friendly the staff was.

The drinks were top notched, I ordered the Sazerac cocktail. And a glass of absinthe served French style (no burning of sugar).

I really had a wonderful experience, I would recommend anyone to come to this bar, its not overcrowded, small and cosy. I never knew such a bar would exist in the heart of London city. This is what i call a true BAR!

I will surely be coming back soon.

Im from NY and it was my first time at 22 Below.
Have to say though, the night was absolutely fantastic! Packed with nive people, great music (not too cheesy but not too clubby either), good service and a wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely be back there with the girls one day.

If you fancy a fun night out and a bit of a boogie in a nice friendly place, then 22 Below is definitely the place to go on a Saturday night.

Me and my friends ended up in this small cocktail bar near Carnaby Street on Saturday and it turned out to be great. They were serving amazing cocktails and the staff were so friendly. Good music and a good vibe. I recommend this place for a warm up since they close at 12.

22 Below is a unique venue. It is small and has that living room sort of feel to it, which is excellent. The drinks are good, as is the food. The dress code is relaxed, but don't let that fool you into thinking this bar isn't classy. The vibe is very much a relaxed one and the place attracts a trendy crowd. It is well worth making 22 Below your regular!

22 Below is very little so it may get a bit too crowded, but the barmen were really lovely, the cocktails tasted great and the music was fab!

Take no notice of the one bad review this amazing little cocktail bar has. 22 Below keeps going from strength to strength and is better now than it has ever been, the staff are great, especially the guy who runs it who is very funny. There are some fantastic cocktails, great DJs on Thursday and Fridays and a fantastic atmosphere.

I work near by and love showing of to friends and work mates by bringing them down to what i call 'my bar'. I strongly recommend 22 Below to anyone.

I visited 22Below on Monday night and was surprised to find they were charging on the door for a comedy night. We forked out £3 each not knowing what to expect. The comedy was brilliant with quite a few familiar faces. The service at 22Below was great and it's nice not to get up for drinks at a venue. We ended up staying until midnight when we were kicked out. All in all a great Monday night.

I have been going to 22Below ever since it opened and it has always been a great little bar for me and my friends to have a drink in. They have a great selection of cocktails which I am now almost halfway through! In the last few months there have been some changes to the bar and all for the better. There's a great comedy night on Mondays, good DJs at weekends, the staff are lovely, and they now have some great new fresh fruit Martini cocktails on their list. I would recommend this fantastic bar to anyone, as I really think it is one of London's best kept secrets.

22Below is a fantastic find! The cocktails are simply brilliant and it's so nice to see a bar that actually keeps on getting better.
I mean, where else in London can you actually book a table for cocktails? Love it!

Going to 22Below reminded me that it's been a long time since I'd been to a bar that has so much going on. What a find! Great cocktails coupled with the fact that you can actually book tables for two for cocktails made me fall in love with this place. Try out the comedy night, it must be the best Monday night out in London.

22 Below used to be a fun and relaxed intimate venue but it has changed somewhat in the last 10 months. The review mentions Simon whose personality, flexibility, enthusiasm and cocktail making skills made the venue a joy to attend. Simon has long since departed, leaving humourless and less than adequate staff in his wake. These one dimensional, superficial wastes tend to be more of a pushy annoyance and plunge the venue into the depths of mediocrity.

22 Below is an excellent little venue - it is rather small - and it's definitely one of my favourite haunts. Great atmosphere and great drinks - very much recommended!
