Great service, great location, great food. Good interior tastefully done in contemporary style - nice work on the secret dining room!

I went there with my son and my husband this week. As it is a new restaurant we were curious. They opened 5 or 6 weeks ago.
We were very pleased. Service, Quality, wonderful tastes. Everything was nice.
We share a medium £12 starter with salmon , calamars, ham , olives, fresh bread, grilled cheese, lettuce and fish purée.
Maybe simple, but natural, tasty and fresh . no need to hide anything under mayonnaise.
After my son had, a full duck leg, i had lamb tigh and my husband Rib eye. But even if the meat was fantastic ( my lamb maybe a bit overcooked) the vegetables which is rare, were even more fantastic! Very often, they are sides, This time we all had 3 fantastic vegetables with real preparation in each plate. basilic mash puree , caramelised carrots, sweet grilled onions, soft melting baby potatoes with herbs, fresh spinach .... No greasy chips!
After, not hungry anymore, we shared 1 fondant au chocolat, + 1 coffee
Also had 2 small glass of red wine and a coke.
We paid £90 with tip for 3
I am afraid we will soon have to book....

Went to 22 North St on Saturday with my wife. Booked a table at very short notice to dine very early evening so it was hardly a surprise that the restaurant was very quiet when we arrived at 6pm. It was filling nicely when we left at around 7.30pm.Greeting was most welcoming and thoughtful. The food was basically superb. We ordered mackerel and horseradish pate, tuna carpaccio, pork belly with saute potatoes, sea bream and risotto nero and shared a banoffee pie (the best I've ever had, and I've had a few). If I was being mega critical I would say that the sea bream and risotto nero together didn't work too well but individually they were great and immaculately cooked.Great wine list and the staff were all faultless. We had a cheeky glass of port each and the bill came to £90, bearing in mind we had one of the nicer bottles of red on the list I again can't fault the price.I wouldn't hesitate to go back here, in fact we've already booked for mid December!!!I must finish by saying that restaurants like this only survive if supported heavily by the local community and a decent job is done making people aware of their presence due to the location being away from Clapham High St and I have to say that although I'm aware it only opened recently it is still very unknown. I genuinely hope that more work is done to market this place as it deserves to do well and I'd be gutted if it didn't last.Good work 22 North Street

Been to 22 three times in two weeks! Perfectly cooked tasty modern English food with hints of Italian and Thai. First class wine list, reasonable prices, very friendly staff , a nice stylish atmosphere and just round the corner from home!! This site has seen some dire restaurants in the past but this one ticks all the boxes. For once the declared daily changing menu really does change so no chance of getting fixated on a few dishes. Come on Clapham folks, let's make 22 welcome.

A lovely little restaurant, greeted with a smile when we entered, most importantly great wine and food and the staff were on the ball. The place have a very cosy atmosphere to it, maybe the menu could be a bit more extensive! We will definitly be back.
