Went last night at Abacus, I really liked the look of the place but it has a terrible atmosphere and clientele, the music was cheap techno commercial, people were so drunk and bad behaved, basically chavs in business suits.
Overhall I found this place really tacky and I would not recommend my friends and especially colleagues to go there.

Avoid Abacus !
Bouncers are rude !
Went there last week for a few after work drinks.
I tried to make a phone call by the front door, because music was so loud, & I got shouted at by the bouncers.
The bouncer was so rude.
He told me to 'MOVE' or 'GET OFF MY PHONE'
This place has gone so down hill !
Don't waste your time going there not unless you enjoy being shouted at by big perma-taned bouncers !

Abacus is simply the best place to party in London.
If you like a venue where you can drink, dance and pull good looking city types, then this is for you.
I have never had a bad night out a Abacus.... probably thanks to the brilliant staff, great crowd and music that is consistantly fabulous no matter what night you go.
Nobody is stuck up and EVERYBODY lets their hair down.
I'll be there again and again.

Iv just got to say Abacus is the bast place I have ever been in London so far. I go all round London and the West End every weekend and just by chance ended up there.

That coment about drunken bankers groping drunken secretaries made me smile because it was soo true. But so what its a laugh. Great atmosphere, great stuff and some one was buying us champane all night.

Don't be put off by any negative reviews of Abacus. A night is only as good as the crowd you're with anyway. We booked an area downstairs - all good. Music was cheesy but after a few drinks, you're there. It's a worth stocking up during happy hour.

There was some decent eye-candy about though and it was bank holiday weekend so there was an up for it and friendly atmosphere. The only downside was that they packed it out majorly. My group of 20 or so guys and gals - all aged late 20s to early 30s loved it. Would go back to Abacus again.

You can't beat Abacus on a Thursday night. Even if you pretend to hate Abacus, you know you love it really!

Guys put on your pink nylon shirt (with stiff white collar and cuffs) and your shiny fat red tie. Girls perfect that tan and accentuate those highlights. Drink loads, stagger (dance) around and be generally annoying.

Abacus is a unique experience, people may slag it off but it is always packed and is still the city club of the moment with no competition in sight. Try it at least once in you life! You will never forget Abacus.

Abacus has a mega atmosphere, great music and attracts a really fun crowd. It is also great for single girls as the bouncers are so on the ball, at the first sniff of trouble they swing into action so it is diffused before you know it. I give Abacus top marks for a good fun and lively night out!

I love Abacus! There is a special atmosphere in there. Everyone is happy and chilled, and everyone just wants to have fun, with no aggro or trouble. The music was mega, and Abacus was full of friendly, fun people.

Unfortunately though I had my purse stolen from my bag, but the management and staff were mega. I reported it to the bouncer and he swung into action immediately, they really acted quickly and did all they could. The Manager was excellent too, he took me to his office to cancel all my cards, and the whole team were excellent.

The only reason anyone one should go to Abacus is for one reason and one reason only, which is Miss Kate. She's not only beautiful but intelligent, polite, and has good customer service. I had a great time at Abacus.

I thought Leicester Square was the worst place to go out in London but Abacus certainly beats it. Drunken city boys groping drunken secretaries, deafening music and expensive poorly dosed cocktails.

Abacus is a place to avoid if you want a good night out - Shoreditch is next door and much better.

What does anyone enjoy about the Abacus bar! The city men who drink there are absolute arses, the service is poor and the music is sad. All in all I had a very poor night in the capital city. I advise anyone to travel to either Newcastle or Bournemouth if they want a proper night out.

I'm going to Back 2 School at Abacus, I've never been before and am a little unsure as to how good it'll be but I'm crossing my fingers. Has anyone else had a good experience at Abacus?

We went to Abacus on Friday and had a blast! As the jivesome bar staff stuffed me full of cocktails and the generously scattered lithe young Lotharios stroked my silky hair, yet another Judy Garland anthem blessed the kicking dance floor.

Right then I knew all my fantasies would be realised at Abacus.

Don't waste your time with Abacus, too packed, no service at the bars, bouncers are atrocious, rude, obnoxious and plainly forget that you are paying their wages.

Abacus is all that is bad about city bars!

We went to Abacus on a Friday from work and had an absolute ball. The place was stuffed with sexy suits. Add to that the funky music and delicious cocktails and you've got yourself one awesome party!

Friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks. Abacus is all round a top bar!

Abacus is a stylish yet relaxed venue smack in the middle of the city. They have quite a good range of drinks (great cocktails) and the staff are VERY fit indeed - reason alone to go back to Abacus for a sneaky pint!
