I found this place cold, claustrophbic and expensive. But, in terms of something different, it doesn't really get any more 'out there' than this. Experience this once.

I had mixed feelings about the icebar. While the manager and cocktail waitress were extremely nice and helpful, the man taking tickets at the door was a total ass to us. On a Monday, tickets are £12. He charged us £15 (using some story about needing a reservation) and would have gotten away with it, had I not seen a flyer and asked my new buddy, the manager, about the prices. When the manager asked the guy at the door, he initially denied it, but had to refund us when he realized that he wasn't getting away with it.

It was a fun atmosphere inside, though a bit of a one-time thing. Amythest Twist was delicious and we didn't have any problem with the bartenders, who were fun and dancing around behind the bar. As long as you have the gloves on, there's really no difference between holding their drinks or a normal one; however, hold on to your cup or it's £4 for a new one, on top of the £6 charge per drink.

I would go back with out-of-town friends, but it's not really the sort of place that you frequent.

This place was fab. I cant believe that people are moaning that it is cold and small. Its an ICE BAR!!! what did u expect? its all in the name. I had a great time here, great drinks, great novelty value, great staff, and great music. I would definately go back

Small and expensive but a lot of fun and a great novelty. You've got to go here at least once. The drinks are the size of a shot but I liked drinking from a hollowed out block of ice.

When we went, music was great but everyone was standing around and posing for photo's - the perfect opportunity to dance. An hours long enough as it does get quite cold despite the coats provided. If you go, bring a camera.

If you're thinking of going to the Ice bar for a night out with a difference then don't bother - if you're looking for a night out inside something akin to a Sainsbury's freezer lorry this would be the perfect place!!

After paying 15 quid to get in, I was expecting an 'Ice Bar' maybe with a few ice sculptures, not a small freezer compartment with a few blocks of ice for seats. I have never written a review of a bar before but after paying to get in and then having to pay a tenner for a shot I thought why not.

Overall a total and utter rip off, why bother when there are so many good bars to go to!!

I brought 14 of my friends along to this place. The entire place doesn't feel like the Icehotel but more like a small freezer room with the walls and even glasses being crafted out of ice. Fluorescent lighting spoils the ambience but I loved the ice phone booth.

It was so promising from the outside. You see people sucked into the icey ambience. The moment I spent the 12 quid entry free and got a free drink, I became depressed.

You can have a straight shot that fills the ice glass but they limit the fill to a shot size. Totally preposterous. Felt like a horse's ass when my drink finished faster than a dog in heat.

Absolute IceBar is a good change and a novel idea as far as scenery goes. But, FAR too expensive just for that. The coats and gloves need cleaning badly.
