new owner operators took the pub last May and spent 5 months turning it back into a lovely old fashioned 2 bar public house. We've visited it twice on trips upto London and have had some good ale (Brakspear pub) and the food is well priced for its quality ... a small ever-changing menu is not the norm these days ! No TVs pool tables or jukeboxes ... a real treat if you fancy a quiet drink or striking up a conversation with a fellow imbiber !! would thoroughly recommend it ... but hope it doesn't get too busy & lose its charm !! ..... posted by a totally unconnected but much appreciative customer !!

The Albert Arms is a good pub to while away a sunny afternoon outside, although outside seating is limited. Ale (London Pride and Bombadier) was well-kept and service good when I visited the Albert Arms early on Friday evening.
