One of the biggest All Bar One venues in the famous chain, it does nothing special but delivers on what you expect every time you step through the doors of an All Bar One.

The Venue
Blackboards? Check. Wooden seating and benches? Check. Large centralised bar complete with wine displayed wine bars? Check. And that’s pretty much that. A great location, based two minutes away from Oxford Circus up Regent Street, and a larger than usual size is all that separates this All Bar One by numbers.

The Atmosphere
The atmosphere at this All Bar One is a little different from many others. The usual flocks of office workers is instead replaced by tourists and shoppers, giving it a more upbeat vibe. This is also a much-used Friday and Saturday night stop off for some reasonably priced quality drinks before hitting the exorbitant clubs. The staff are friendly enough - especially for busy Central London - and the drinkers are a pleasant mix. But there’s nothing exceptional about this place.

The Drink
Draught beers, spirits and mixers and bottle upon bottle of red, whites and roses pretty much sums up what drinking at any All Bar On is all about. And this is no different. Still, a large glass of house white is under a fiver and isn’t vinegar and the beer is cold and costs around £3 a pint - hitting the spot after a hard day’s shopping or sight-seeing.

The Last Word
You wouldn’t come to an All Bar One expecting a unique setting and mind-blowing cocktails. This ABO offers clean drinking in a clean venue. Nothing more. To quote a hugely successful ad campaign, ’ it does exactly what it says on the tin’.
