Second time I've been here, first time the food and the service were both great. Little expensive for what it is, but good nonetheless.

This time it was, to be blunt, just awful.

One and hour and 40 minutes from walking through the door to the main course arriving is bad. When you're having a business lunch you expect to be served in a decent timeframe.

We sat for over half an hour before they took our initial order.

The starters were cold.

When the main course eventually arrived it was wrong, but by this point we had waited so long we took it anyway. Well I would have done had they have come back with a plate for me to eat off....

I never stayed for the coffee and dessert, I was late for a meeting and I'd lost my will to live at this point.

Imagine a remake of Faulty Towers set in an Indian Restaurant and you're about there.

Like I said, awful, just awful.

What's worse is it was a business lunch, I wanted to take my colleagues somewhere nice with good service and good food. I felt ashamed to have taken them there.

I was recommended by a friend to visit Anokha and I must say it was a wonderful experience. I have been dining in michellin award restaurants such as zaika and benares must confess Anokha's food was much more authentic and flavoursome. Definitely will go back soon.

The best city indian restaurant to date. The food and service is exceptional. The decor is very elegant and chic unlike Rajasthan's and Cafe Taj which is your typical curry house. I went there with my clients and they were very impressed. Highly recommended.
