Celebrated my birthday here recently and had a fantastic time. Atmosphere was cool and relaxed and the cocktail menu was appealing.
Staff were friendly and music was exactly what we wanted.
Room to dance a little too which added to the evening.
Definitely recommended and have been back since!
Went to Apples & Pears for my birthday last week and we had a great time! It looks like its under new management as the place looks and feels different. I tried one of their alcoholic milkshakes which was divine! Their resident DJ played some great tunes and we would definite come back again!
We had a booking here for my birthday 2 weeks ago and everyone had a great time. Suprisingly well priced for the area and was very happy to have downstairs exclusively to ourselves. Not been in here on a normal night though but will be checking it out soon no doubt.
Myself and my girlfriend had our engagement party here last Friday and have to say that we couldn't have been happier with the space we reserved or the helpfulness of all the staff. They really bent over backwards to accommodate us at such short notice. Many thanks.
I live just a stones throw away from Apples and Pears and it has become almost like a second home. The staff are all full of banter and the cocktails never fail to impress me. Will carry on returning.
My wife and I, plus a group of friends passed by Apples and Pears on Saturday night, it was early in the evening so there was still some room for us all to be seated comfortably. We were only in London for the weekend visiting, from south Wales and intended to see all the sights of Bricklane. However, we were made so welcome and loved the atmosphere of the place that much, that we ended up staying to the end of the night. The bar man (i think his name was John) was an absolute scream. The music was great, by the end of the evening we were dancing and singing along. Brilliant. Couldn't of had a better night. Would definitely recommend it for anyone in the area. Wish we had a bar like this in Pontypridd!
I dropped by last Friday, this place has a excellent out door beer garden at the back, and no suits from the city! Result! Excellent Japanese beer, and until 7pm a bit of peace and quiet! I will be returning!
I stumbled across this place by accident...great cocktails and brilliant atmosphere. I 'll definitely be back.
