Had a great night here a week ago. Staff were polite, fun and generally good service by all of them that we came in to contact with. Atmosphere was great, the DJ and 'drummer' had the music just right. Belly Dancer was the best I've seen.
Food was very good too... we had the mixed meze to start with followed by lamb with cous cous and chicken with cous cous. Only complaint I have is that they did not serve tap water to the tables, they only served tap water at the bar which I found rather bizarre and wrong!

Would defo go again, but wonder what it is like if there are no birthday parties or whatever there was the night we were there.

But overall job well done by the restaurant staff.

Celebrated my birthday in the basement fine dining area. All of my friends asked how I had found Ayoush! Wonderful atmosphere, very warm welcome, private seating for groups. Definitely recommend the shared mezzes, berry cocktail and lovely belly dancer showing off her curves and moves on the saturday night. This one has 4 stars.

Me and boyfriend visited this place yesterday evening.
All I can say is I never been to such a unprofessional, choatic restaurant.
We were first seated in downstairs area which was very nice but very loud and busy if you are a couple. The staff kindly moved us upstairs part of the restaurant near the entrance.
Our startes arrived within 25 minutes of being seated. Thy were quite tasty and a good portion (from the set menu priced at £24.99 pp).
The kind waitress took our plates once finished and askes if were ready for our mains.
We then waited one hour and fifteen minutes for our mains!
People who arrives before us were fed before us.
One hour and fifteen minutes later hungry and fedup we asked the front house staff to cancel our main.
The fronthouse kindly acknowledged we were very fedup!
We asked to speak with the manager to complain about the awful service. We then told he was "too busy" to meet us.
The staff provided us with feedback cards and to other customers who waited like us.
We then decided not pay for anything and walk out due to the absolute madness in the place. The kind staff encouraged us not pay and also admitted their manager was a idoit and that thy were very embarrased.
All in all the food was ok but the service was jusy disgusting.
In our advice stick to the other resturants on the street the staff are more welcoming and food is wayyyy better!

I went there last night and booked for a table for 2 under the View Card. Which is 241. Firstly the restaurant was so dimly lit both my brother and I had to use our torches on our phones to read it. The deal wasn't clear either so we had ask how the 241 worked. We went for the Morrocon Set Menu. We also ordered 2 glasses of tropical fruit juice, a wine and beer. The food was okay, we were full but the Tagine was too runny. The juices were £14. I don't think I have never paid for juice at £7 in my life! The service wasn't that great, the music was too loud and I wouldn't go to Ayoush again.

Absolutely lovely evening! Saturday nights in Ayoush is the best, lovely food, great service and splendid music. Went with somee friends, we were only going for a drink but decided to have some nibbles, and I'm not sorry we did. The Foooood is gorgeous. I Strongly recommend anyone who would like som genuine Moroccan food to go to Ayoush! Sami

Food arrived cold, starters and mains arrived all over the place (bad timing in the kitchen), meat undercooked, even the yoghurt was sour - and the waiter gave me a hard time. When my plate was returned to me, it looked like it had been spat in, so that's when we decided to leave. When I emailed the restaurant to complain to someone higher up, not only did I NOT get a response, but I was added to their mailing list! The cheek! Despite repeated requests to unsubscribe from the mailing list, Ayoush refuses to honour my request, and I'm still getting spam emails from them several years later! With such a range of better restaurants around St. James area, I'd literally have to be dying of hunger before subjecting myself to such an unpleasant experience again.

Wat a great place, we went for Xmas lunch and we were 19 of us, great place, good food and top service.
We asked the manager to get us a belly dancer and that was great fun, we even got up and danced away.
As to the price; it coasted each of us on the food 24.50 for 3 course meal which you will expect for the food we had inclusive of the dancer. Great fun will strongly recommend visit.
Will I go back; YES. we all agreed to arrange another visit but an evening.
