I popped into Bar 38 with some friends from work for a bit of food after a meeting and was pleasantly surprised by the menu and the friendly bar staff. I shall be arranging a night out with the lads to Bar 28 this Friday to sample the cocktails too!

My colleagues and I have just had lunch in Hammersmith's Bar 38. We were a big group of about 16 people who ordered meals, but it took some of us more than an hour to get our meals served. The waiter did kindly refund two of us as we had to wait so long, but unfortunately this is not the first time we have experienced such a delay in service. I had vowed never to go back again - the only reason we went there was because all the other pubs were already full - now we know why Bar 38 was empty. The owner/manager needs to take a serious look at this bar as it will keep alienating people at this rate.
