A regular haunt of mine. I'll defend Bar 38 till the very end. I've had some brilliant nights in here. I even met my boyfriend in here. Just a nice-looking bar full of people up for a bit of fun and looking to unwind from their working day. Well that's Bar 38 in the winter! In the Summer, oh well you know what England's like in the Summer anyway; the happiest place in the world. Well the patio at the front of Bar 38, along the river-front, is the best place to enjoy it and that's where you'll find me at 5.05pm every Summers evening.

The only thing i liked about this bar was the location! it was nice sitting outside and even got to see some fireworks that were going on somewhere else! However the drinks were ridiculously over priced! i paid over 20 quid for a bottle of wine that i've seen in tesco since for £3.99!! Not only that we paid loads for a platter for 4 people, which looked like a main course for 1! The place is too small inside n the toilets are just weird! The nice waiter however gives this place another star!

Don't expect much from Bar 38. Full of pretentious people who get drunk far too easily and like to pretend they are more important than they are. Over priced drinks because of the local clientelle earnings. Newsflash - not everyone earns 100K a year! 4 pounds 50 for a shot of Opal Nera? Sorry next time I'll just bend over it won't hurt as much!

There's no dance area and the only things going for it are the table football and the arcade golf. However, Bar 38 is pretty much the pick of the Wharf Bars, which says a lot about the area.

Bar 38 is a complete dive. The manager and staff are totally and utterly unprofessional. I will never step foot in this bar ever again. Don't waste your time and money visiting it. I got my sunglasses stolen by the waitress who had been serving us for most of the day. When I reported it, the other bar staff laughed at me and it wasn't until the police got involved that I got my glasses back. They also added 4 bottles of wine to our bill which we never even had and I ended up having a huge argument with the manager (who is one of the most rudest people I've ever met) to get them to take the drink off the bill. The toilets are also filthy and scummy; you wouldn't even make a dog go in them.
Rating of 1 but only because there's no 0 rating available!

I'm a pretty regular feature of Bar 38 and take new people there all the time as I love it so much! The food's great as are the people and the atmosphere.

I can't recommend Bar 38 highly enough.

Bar 38 is a disappointing, faceless venue. It's overpriced and I found the staff unfriendly.

Bar 38 is nice enough - lovely sitting outside. Unfortunately the toilets are pretty minging.
