On one of my many visits to London I had the great pleasure of being shown Bar B-Lo. Just a great place. I think about it all the time. Of course I think about Alex the most but I doubt she is still there.
Good music, good drinks, good times, good buzz, and a place I will always go back to when ever I have the chance.
Bar B-Lo in classy bar near UCL shocker! There aren't many good bars around UCL, and it was a pleasant surprise to find a classy, sophisticated, laid-back and unpretentious bar of this quality in this area.
The blue lighting at Bar B-Lo seems so cliched but it works as does the ample seating, good size room, and a cave!
Prices at Bar B-Lo are reasonable and staff are accommodating and friendly. We had a Christmas party here and it was excellent. The only thing that spoils Bar B-Lo is that it isn't open late enough!

Bar B-lo Bar has a cosy walled patio with stainless steel tables and chairs available for use in the summer and is a nice, comfortable place to have a drink or two. Bar B-lo also has a few club nights but I haven't been to any of these yet.
Had my birthday party at Bar B-Lo and was really pleased I chose it. We only had finger food, which was really tasty, and the staff were great.
I highly recommend Bar B-Lo.
I honestly couldn't believe how great Bar B-Lo was. I went there on a Thursday and they had Jill Scott's DJs playing. I went there on a Friday and they had more great music. The joint is great! The drinks were fantastic at Bar B-Lo although after three Raspberry Blazers I liked them too much. The greatest thing about it was that it was just a cool place - both the people and the staff. Heavy!
Bar B-Lo is a great little bar, very stlyish, the music was very good and the cocktails excellent (I can't remember what they're called but you name it!).I was there on Wednesday night for CUBANISTA, very mellow latin/funk and a good crowd.
Definitely Bloomsbury's best kept secret.
