A few friends and I went to celebrate a birthday on 3 March. We had a good time in the bar upstairs, and fantastic starters. However, the fun stopped there. The main meals were not cooked properly! Upon complaining, the manager accused us of lying by stating that he saw the food and it was cooked - 6 witnesses would disagree with him. To top the night off, the manager thought that an offensive and aggressive attitude would make us want to come back there - NO WAY! If you go there, be sure to check your meal as it may be uncooked especially as you are expected to pay typical London prices for it!

I recently made reservations at belowzero and the icebar for my girlfriends birthday. I asked for VIP treatment given the nature of my booking and they didn't dissapoint. I had an amazing table (they were all pretty good) in a snug comfy area. The staff were smiling and really helped us choose our dishes as the menu was extensive and all looked so good! (try the Chorizo - its out of this world).

It was a fantastic evening made special by the quality of service and the fantastic food. I loved it and will definitely be back soon.

A friend and I went to Below Zero for the "shift and shuffle" music night.

We rang before and were told whilst all the tables were booked we would be fine getting in. Infact, this took some effort- not just for us but for many others who'd come for the music- fire regulations apparently.

The poor girl on the door was lovely as she'd been given an awful situation to deal with. Once inside it was clear that this is not a venue for music.

We were standing amongst the diners which can't have made for a pleasant meal for them.

Drinks are waiter service only and there is a service charge. The majority of staff were sullen and quite rude.

We weren't eating but it seemed that a few people weren't getting what they ordered.

The music was excellent but I felt sorry for the musicians trying to play in such a rubbish venue.

I think Bar Zero should avoid putting on nights like this in the future and stick to serving food and overpriced drinks.

After our chilled fun in the Ice Bar we were ready for Belowzero.

Started off with the waiters taking too long with our drinks, in fact we made a dent with the bottle of water before our cocktails and wine arrived.

The Cocktail: Ordered two Hibiscus Royale and we got two glasses of Champagne with raspberry juice, which isn’t a cocktail on the menu.

Later, I quizzed the barman over this cocktail and the replay was the Hibiscus is too expensive for them to use. THEN WHY SAY ‘Hibiscuc Royale’ on the menu? Change it!!

The Wine: Ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio, which arrived warm...... they did have it in an ice bucket 1/3 filled with water and a few ice cubes in it.

I had to ask for more ice in the ice bucket and the wine as chilled right when we finished our main course.

Suggestion for those of you going to the Ice Bar first, order and take your white wine with you to chill for ½ hour.

The Food: Arrived cold, not warm but cold – cold duck isn’t my favorite dish but the side vegs were warm.

Overall, it’s a tourist trap style restaurant, not good service, poor quality of food for that price and very poor quality on drinks service.

Just to say that we were over from Germany ,staying with friends in London. We dined at below zero and went to the ice bar. Both were amazing but the food was fantastic !! Thanks to the staff , they made us so welcome. We would definately go again and again. It has to be the sexiest restaurant in London.

You have to go to this place at least once and fork out the extra to hit the actual ice bar, but be prepared it really is cold and girls in strappy shoes won't be able to hack it for long-you need to book a slot in advance though although the staff are always very accomodating and will try to fit you in if you haven't booked.
A must for visiting tourists. You can make yourself comfy in the bar while your friends go in, if you've been in before or don't fancy it.
The cocktails are pretty exspensive £10min but they are truely worth in theres one that really does taste like crumble and the Mohito's were very fresh, recommend a visit but perhaps visit after a nice meal and have a cocktail for desert...I haven't eaten downstairs but it sounds intruging!

Below Zero London is a sexy restaurant with a great atmosphere. We waited for our table in the stylish bar upstairs, but was not too bothered as we had some time to catch up with friends. The sound levels at Below Zero London were good, which is always important if you like to speak to the people you came with.

We were all suprised at the prices of the drinks, and chose the most economical bottle of pinot at £16.00. Once seated we chose food from the grazing menu but the food was delicious. Our waiting staff were attentive and likeable.

We didn't quite make it to dinner at Below Zero as the prices slightly put us off. It looks dead nice there, but the drinks were expensive enough as it was. My boyfriend says that maybe we can go to Below Zero for Christmas, but only if we save up!
