My girlfriend and I are regular visitors to The Bishop out of Residence and we always find the staff friendly, helpful and efficient. The food is always good, possibly slightly overpriced, but then you get what you pay for. The beer is always on good form.

It is a great summer venue, but nice and cosy in the winter too. The previous contributor must have gone on a very bad day, but in our experience the Bishop out of Residence has always come up trumps.

Avoid the Bishop out of Residence at all costs. The staff were rude, unhelpful and unfriendly. They had wine in plastic glasses and overpriced, awful food which they then have the cheek to add a compulsory service charge to. I cannot recommend the Bishop out of Residence.

Bishop out of Residence is a great pub to relax in. Now they have started doing live jazz on a Sunday afternoon and it is great. Bishop out of Residence is great in summer, nice and cosy in winter. Love the place.

I like going to the Bishop out of Residence to sup on a few fine ales and drink in the river's atmosphere. If you're out in Kingston upon Thames the Bishop out of Residence is well worth a visit.

Bishop out of Residence is a classic pub with all modern luxuries such as air conditioning. In the summer being inside the Bishop out of residence is far preferable to being outside!
