Black Cherry has a great lounge atmosphere, with a selected funky crowd sipping great, well made cocktails. It reminded me of few West End cocktail bars. We had great fun and will definitely come back to Black Cherry.

After nagging our waitress three times and waiting around an hour, our food arrived and the pasta was totally overcooked. I complained about this to our waitress and she stared blankly at me completely dumbstruck. I stared back, and then I asked for the bill, so she walked off.



When the bill arrived they had added 10 percent service charge so I complained to the Black Cherry manager, was told that I didn't wait an hour for my food, I only waited 50 minutes which is an acceptable length of time to wait, and the food is freshly cooked which always takes longer.



Eventually she did me the favour of removing the service from my bill and the soggy pasta, but this was only after it had been made perfectly clear that I was in the wrong and that the Black Cherry was the standard by which all other Dulwich eateries set their standards.

As a woman who, for the last few years, has craved a sophisticated female orientated venue, Black Cherry is like coming home to my mecca. The cocktail lounge, afternoon teas, plush upholstery and wicked cocktails make Black Cherry my new favourite, bar none!
