I totally agree with all the reviews of Black Lion! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. I recommend the hot wings with honey & soy sauce! Again, I have to say too that it became our "local pub" during our stay in London. We wanted to bring an oder of wings back to our hotel room for my parents and they were kind enough to accomodate even though they don't usually do "take away" as they call it in the uk.

To my shock, it was very difficult to find free wifi in London. Even Starbucks doesn't offer it! Thank goodness for the Black Lion, one of the only places generous enough to provide free wifi. But, that's not all. The service is friendly, the food is good and the pricing is very reasonable. The Black Lion became "our pub" while in London. Highly recommended.

Very nice pub with free wi-fi with the cloud :)is nice to drink some beer! Next time at london I come back!

Became "our local" on first visit during 10-day UK holiday. On second visit, publican had my preference pulled and sitting in span of time between my entering door and crossing to the bar. Terrace seating delightful for leisure chat with other visitors and natives alike. Can't wait for next trip, glad to know they're still open and serving! KUDOS!
