Decent food, good service, marred by the fact that they refused our Living Social voucher because it was December. They insisted that it was stated on the website the voucher was not accepted. I checked the Living Social website as well as the voucher and it was not stated.
I don't know what the fuss was as we were only one of 2 tables dining at 7pm on a Saturday night.

We visited Boyd's on Friday, as it's was recommended by a work colleague. First Impressions were Oh No, hotel restaurant. But we very impressed with everything.
The service was great and relaxed, the food was good clean simple British dishes. My wife loved the halibut, I had steak (slightly expensive though) For dessert I had cheese and my wife had a cheesecake, we were recommended two pudding wines by the manager which went very well with the dishes.
Will definitely go again and use the bar for drinks. It's a bit of a hidden gem, so don't tell everybody. Also they have a Bordeaux named after them I think.....

Dreadful. We were ignored by the staff for 35 minutes before we left.
