We ate here on saturday before going to see 'wicked' at the apollo just up the road , it was lovely ; nice atmospere , good tunes , friendly service , good food and reasonable prices . Especially for somewere within 500 yds of a theatre in london ! Would highly recommend !

Just been to The Brass Monkey for a standard Friday pub lunch with work colleagues.

Feeling hungry and looking to get the weekend off on a good note I ordered the Bangers & Mash. What arrived 30 mins later could have been served on a cocktail stick the portion was so small! It would be fair to say there was about one baby potatoes worth of mash. I politely asked the waitress if it would be possible to have a slightly larger portion as having paid close to £10 you would expect to eat enough to leave feeling reasonably full. She replied that i would have to pay an additional £3 for another serving of mash!

Utterly obscene, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

If you are in the area head 100m up the road to the Jugged Hare where portions match prices.

This is a cool little bar. Nice and relaxed and the beer was superb!!!!
