Walked in there last night, dressed in smart work gear.

Some old tea-bag faced geezer shouted out at me, then laughed. He was laughing with the bar maid and another lad.

I then should have walked out again. But I thought, may as well get a drink as I ahd come in for one.

The bar maid syphoned up, taking her time, and started with, 'I am going to be offensive...' whereupon she asked me for my ID.

Well, as I was dressed smart and am never normally id'ed, it was quite clear that I was not welcome here.

Definitely a shame not to have a decent local, but then it never good anyway.

I work round the corner and the girls I work with like to come here because girls love pubs where they act like they're doing you a favour when they charge you £4 for a pint.

Tonight was something else. The bloke serving clearly hadn't poured many pints in his life and gave me a pint which was literally two-thirds beer, one-third foam.

He then moved on to the next customer, as if this was an acceptable pint. I politely asked him to top it up and he refused. He gave some BS about licensing laws allowing you to give 5% head.

His whole attitude stunk - he was clearly looking for an argument.

He was then abusive to people I was with because they laughed at him.If you like head, you'll get better rates from a Kensington escort girl.

What a joke. Much better pubs in Wood Green.
