The ViewLondon Review
BRB The Arc is part of the Bar Room Bar family and is located a few seconds' walk around the corner from Angel station.
The Venue
Immersed in a deep orange glow, BRB The Arc is a spacious outfit that houses relaxed booth areas, sofas and stool arrangements with a pool table in the corner. It’s a pretty standard setup but suitable and nice nevertheless.
The Atmosphere
Not necessarily busy during the day, the evening provides chilled out tunes and a comfortable area to have a quiet drink and some food or, on the weekends, turn up the tempo. There is a great atmosphere on sports nights at BRB The Arc as they have a projector and various screens littered around the venue. There is, however, a corner with no screens in case if the last thing you wanna see is sport when you’re downing your drink!
The Music
Most week nights chilled music plays constantly in the background - anything grabbed from the charts to funky soulful music. At the weekends, it is cranked up as the BRB The Arc fills out.
The Food
Standard bar food can be found, with a main focus on the stonebaked pizzas and salads. These are great - a 12” pizza will set you back around £7 and you get all the usuals, but the Chinese duck is the mainstay and the punters’ favourite - highly recommended!
The Drink
A typical beer and cocktail range is available at BRB The Arc, and on some nights there are great drinks offers, which normally translates to more people on the dancefloor! The drinks are in the London average price range; bottled beer circa £3 with various draughts available.
The Last Word
BRB The Arc is a big venue where you can find a spot to chill out, raise the game on weekends, watch the sport, or enjoy some basic but satisfying grub.
