A busy friendly little pub which is bursting at the seams with people on Fridays. Nice barrells outside to sit and stand around and a good atmosphere. Definitely worth popping by if you're in the area.

This is a place that ticks all the boxes i need, outside area (smoker) covers (English summers!) and heaters (now almost winter), decent ales, I am on Meantime - its a blond ale, close to London Bridge, looks like you need to either call ahead to book tables, or in my case arrive early as most of the tables in side have been booked, and i can see why!

In the past, I'd always frequented Brew Wharf quite regularly as it has a fantastic selection of beers.

However, I hosted a colleague's leaving drinks there in January and was subjected to such poor service that I vowed never to return. What makes it all the worse for me is that I work for a large employer in the area so we spent literally hundreds of pounds there every couple of weeks; we're not a group of people who might drop in for one drink from time to time.

Last night was my first time back since then, and unfortunately not only has the service not improved but prices seem to have tripled as well. I certainly won't be visiting again in a hurry.
