The Britannia has just had a refurbishment and looks great. It's kept that comfy pub feel but has raised the bar with its modern British menu and decor. The food is fantastic, I can recommend the sausage and mash and crab salad. The service was great, efficient and unobtrusive. All in all, an ideal dinner venue.

I have visited the Britannia on several occasions for both drinks and a meal. I have never been to a pub that does both as well as the Britannia. The Staff are friendly and attentive. The food is amazing! You can share fab snacks like nachos or full on restaurant style food. I fully recommend the Haddock it's delicious!

Very good food is served in Britannia. It is a lot different since the refurbishment, much more modern and a little bit more restaurant like. Britannia is a nice place to go for a meal for two.
