Went last night(Halloween weekend Sunday) with a sgroup of friends to watch my friend's performance @NewsRevue.what a joy!very talented and funny actors.fully admire the one hour set as it requires from the performers a lot of discipline! The annoying thing is that in order to see the gig you need to purchase an annual membership ... Not cool at all!other than that very enjoyable and intimate venue.perfect for a Sunday evening spent with friends :-)

Went to see NewsRevue and it was well worth the visit, topical comedy with a talented cast full of energy. A full house the night we went and everybody seemed to be enjoying the show. Venue is in a great location above a nice pub close to the tube. Will go again.

I thought the Canal Cafe Theatre was great inside and you could tell that it was full of budding thespians. The News Review was extremely funny, incisively witty and truly excellent comedy. My oldest son (17) really enjoyed it as did my wife and I. We had a great evening and would highly recommend it to everyone!

I really loved this show. The acting and singing was brilliant.

I liked the setting as it was intimate and causy.

For a one woman show, I thought the script worked very well as you felt absorbed by the story of this 50's cabaret singer.

thought the place was dingey an dull - comedy show wasn't bad, a couple of belly achers but nothing special although the cast had good talent, wrters let them down.
Wont go back - soft drinks VERY expensive
