Love this Pub, if you go upstairs it is a traditional proper old pub, but with the unique touch of having its own brewery. Sam Smith does its own special drinks and you won't be able to get a pint of Guinness or a Carling, BUT you will be able to get a stout and an Alpline Lager, and believe me they are GOOOD! Well worth popping in and a great meeting place if you want to catch up as no music. Food is very reasonable and oh did I forget to mention it is the cheapest pint in London!

Had a lovely relaxing meal in the Chandos, as previous visitors have stated, Staff very welcoming, food very reasonably priced. Will be going back when next in London. Have recommended it to our friends who will be down for the Royal Wedding.

This is such a great pub! Lovely atmosphere and lovely interior. Upstairs has so many comfy sofas to choice from! It's also very reasonably priced for London prices. Staff are always pleasant. Defo give it a try.

A hell of a pub, great location. Prompt and friendly service even in the busies of times.

in a city where you would struggle to find a decent bitter of lager under £3.50 in even the most Orwellian suburban hell(Beckenham) the chandos is a beacon of privacy, fine beer and a truly English atmosphere.

Wonderfully furnished having failed to give in to the interior design hate crimes visited on so many pubs recently, the chandos offers both a large bar and comfortable private booths.

The selection of food and drink is admittedly limited but in frequent visits i never saw the need to stray from one or two items.

Nowhere is better situated being placed 2 minutes from the fantastic buildings of St Martins and the national gallery.

If you are looking to get ripped off in some poncy wimbledon gastro pub pumping out awful music the chandos is not for you.

If you'd feel more at home in a comfortable, friendly pub where £10 will last you an evening not an hour then try the chandos.

Haven't been to this pub for 6 years and returned last night. Used to really like it in there but what a dissapointment!! No rose wine and every spirit and wine is produced by just one company. Tried one of the spirits and one of the wines and they tasted awful. Sadly the food wasn't much good either. What's happened? Such a contrast to how it used to be.

Chandos is cheap and centrally located. It's also large. An average kennel for your average boozehound.

Chandos is a great pub, amazingly cheap prices for location. Good beer too!

Opera bar upstairs much more comfortable, but can get busy.
