I used to like Cheyne Walk Brasserie, but recently the service has become pushy and prices too high. The good thing is the barbequed fish and meat which is excellent. The cheaper wines are also good value, but the starters and puddings at Cheyne Walk Brasserie are medicore and expensive.


The waitress kept slopping wine into our glasses without being asked and then pushing us to order more and they tried to slot us into a sitting time, saying they were full, when in fact the place was half empty.

I was so looking forward to my night at Cheyne Walk. I wasn't disappointed at all. The food was great and when we went into the bar afterwards we had a great night. Cheyne Walk is a good brasserie.
