I thought this place was fab!
Went in their on friday night with my girlfriend & really enjoyed myself.
Yes it was expensive, ok very, but you get what you pay for.
Don't just think you can jump on a table because one has come free either as the bar staff will not think twice of telling you to move if you jump there que. Regardless of if your a guest or not!
Their was no where to sit when we arrived but the bar staff got us a table the second one came free without us even asking.
The service was outstanding!
No one is bigger than the hotel so remember that.
If your feeling flush they sell a shot of some rare cognac for £1000!... I ordered a double ( O;
Not really the place for a group of mates as their is no music but THE place to go if you want to impress your partner.

My experience at Claridges Bar was not a very good one. My husband and I went one evening after reading lots of great reviews of the bar.

Although it was quite easy to get a seat and it seemed quite cozy, we were disappointed by pretty much everything else. The prices are ridiculously expensive, and the champagne cocktail I ordered was at best mediocre. We found the service to be very stuffy and snobby men in dark suits patrol the bar with a condescending air.

The bar was full of obnoxiously loud people and it was difficult to have a quiet conversation. Overall, I think Claridges is overrated, and merely a place to go to "be seen". This is unfortunate, because it is such a cozy and intimate-looking establishment.
