I had a great meal here the other day with some friends upstairs in the dining room. Gorgeous setting, good service and great food. Definitely coming back.

Great pub!! Real Pub!! Love the atmosphere, the piano and the food is amazing. They make the best sausage rolls and scotch eggs in London. Love the fact that they ring the bell when the new load of hot bar food comes down. Normally sells out within minutes. My partner is a big cider fan and they have three on hand pull. For me six ales is great and they are all kept very well.

Love the place. Please keep away bennyboy. Don't come back. You obviously don't know what you're on about. Expensive food? Nonsense. The best beef steak pie you will get in London, all freshly made on site. Takes twenty minutes to cook from fresh to perfection. Only £10. Amazing value, should be £15 at least. Thank heavens for the coach!

Thank god Coach and Horses has changed very little. Great boozer. Been coming here on and off for years. Although we loved the image of Norman being the rudest Landlord in London it is better now with the new landlord. The food they now offer is the best value pub food in the area in fact I rate the food very highly, far better than many of the so called trendy or swanky restaurants in Soho. Try the Mussels.!

My friends eat out in Soho a lot, it where we work. We also drink at the Coach, not as regulars but pretty often and love the place. However, more importantly, we ate upstairs for the first time having heard the gossip that it was pretty amazing and still under the radar. Wow! In my humble opinion best food in Soho and such excellent value for money. My advise eat here quick before everyone catches on and the prices go up! My meal. Chicken Liver Parfait so so so goodshetland Mussels to die forand the raspberries with lemon curd and shortbread was just so yummy and want more! That set me back only £22! For truely home made food, including the shortbread and the lemon curd, in the heart of Soho that is fantastic value!

Great pub! Love it. The atmosphere is always fantastic, whether you like it quieter or on a busy lively evening. I have always found the ales to be outstanding and the food they serve is pretty much second to none in Soho, especially in pubs. They make everything fresh and it is extremely good value for money! I had a chicken liver parfait, made by their chef, which was truly amazing and only £6 followed by their very own Chicken Kiev for only £11, sorry but any other gastro pub serving food like this would be charging a load more. My friends went the week earlier and ate in the dining room upstairs and are still raving about the fish and chips. Rock on Coach without doubt the best pub in soho!

They got a piano and they use it for good old round the piano sing alongs! Brilliant! Was in there last Saturday and the place was heaving and the sing a long was such a laugh. Funny how every one thinks they know the words to Delilah but when it comes to singing it. Ha ha ha great. Love the old songs too. Thanks bbc london radio for the recommendation otherwise would never have got here.

A real pub where you can have a real drink and a good old chin wag It is a welcome break to find a hostelry that is a world apart from the sterile theme joints wrecking the natural habitat of the pub dweller.
The beer is excellent and supporting local breweries, the vodka is strong and the ice is cold.
I have had many many enjoyable nights there for several years and the fact that I can't remember most of them is a sure sign that they were spent properly.
Good old Coach and Horses.

The Coach and Horses has always been a great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of Soho. During the day it’s a haven of tranquillity but come the evening it transforms into a marvellous place to meet friends. Weather you’re looking for a good ole sing-a- long, a bit of a natter, minus the blaring back ground music of other pubs or a delicious meal upstairs. The Coach and Horses never fails to hit the spot. A+++++

I had the greatest dinner out on Saturday night at the delightful restaurant upstairs at The Coach and Horses. There's an amazing dining room where you are surrounded by an eclectic mix of the wierd and the wonderful (and that's the people eating there as well as the decour.) The Food was outstanding and so reasonable. And then after dinner, a Quirky Cabaret act. It was just the most fantastic night, topped off by the incredible charm of the landlord and landlady. I'll be going again as soon as they have a free table. I'd recommend it to anyone. A little hideaway of heaven in the heart of stressful Soho.

I popped in last Wednesday, and walked right into a time warp! There was a funny old woman at the piano wearing a corset and a feather in her hair, and everyone in the pub was singing along to Beatles songs and the like at the tops of their voices! It was incredible. Real spirit of the Wartime, austerity, make do and mend vibe - all that was missing was the sawdust on the floors!

Only problem was that a customer had let off a stink bomb earlier in the evening - why would you do that, in this day and age when smells can't be disguised by fag smoke? Consequently some young men were running around spraying can's of Lynx into the air (at least, I think that's why they were doing that...?)

Amazing atmosphere, I thoroughly recommend!

Met someone at this pub spouting on about his achievements, pursuits and quite honestly, I did not give two hoots - later on I was informed he was the owner.

Pub has changed through the years... Nevermind.

What a load of nonsense. If you had ever met me, which you obviously have not, you would have realised I have NEVER spouted about mine or anyone elses achievements. It would seem to me that unlike all of my proper customers, all of whom I hold in the utmost regard, you didn't meet anyone and therefore left rather sad and ill informed. Or perhaps you were talking to yourself.

I am very happy with your review as it probably means that you no longer come into my pub which is a good thing as it will ensure the wonderful banter that circulates my pub with regulars and new faces, with people who know each other and people who have just met will continue unabated day in day out.

The Coach and Horses is definitely worth visiting if for no other reason than it was the local for Jeoffrey Bernard the writer and renowned drunk and womaniser who has found fame by having a play written about him.

Go to the Coach and Horses!

Make sure you get to the Coach and Horses for happy hour. The drinks are so cheap. You may have to cue for a while but they are pretty good with knowing who has been there the longest. The Coach and Horses is good fun.
