I approched Cosmo Bar with the intention of putting on a club night. As I handed over the deposit there was nothing wrong with the venue, which they neglected to tell me.

Though once I got to the club and the performers were playing. Both CDJ CD turntables do no function properly...

I asked for an extra security guard to stand on the door (at the bottom of the stairs) to provide assistance for my guests. However he jsut wondered around not doing anything and would walk away from me when I was talking to him. People entered the venue without making payment, when the door staff asked the 'bouncer' if he was the bouncer and could eject the person who hadn't paid. he stated i'm not the bouncer! The member of door staff was quite embarrased and said sorry and walked off. A little while later the door staff was informed he was a bouncer and went back to state that people hadn't paid to get in and said he wasn't a bouncer. He turned round and said... i'm not a bouncer i'm a door man...?

They had painted the floor obviously a couple of hours before, so they ruined 50 pairs of shoes.

People were smoking in the club, and the bouncer and the manager very agressivley told me they would close the night down if anyone is smoking... however it is the "door mans" job to patrol and prevent people from doing this and protect his managers property & lisence...

DO NOT HIRE THIS PLACE OUT... DO NOT GO HERE...

A terrific night had at Cosmbobar. It's great when you can have a meal and a boogie in the same place! I recommend the Italian-style beefburger on the menu. Will be back to Cosmobar very soon.
