The food is average - You can easily do the same at home. It's nothing complicated or finely elaborated.
So for what it is, I think it's a bit expensive.
Wine list is average too - nothing exciting here.
Service is ok. The owner is morrocan, speaks english and french. It's a nice guy.
Conclusion : I will no go again because it's definitely not exciting and almost boring.

Probably one of the worst meals I have had since coming back to London two months ago. We eat out nightly so we do what we can to ensure that our costs are kept to a minimum. We used our taste London card and yet the owners did everything they could to ensure that we were paying full price. They firstly told us that the deal isn't valid any more. (50% off) Once clarifying this with Taste london they were effectively forced to accept it. Yet even with the discount the food wasn't worth the money that we paid. The ingrediants they used seemed to be the cheapest ingrediants possible. Food was particially cold and to add insult to injury the manager still tried to add and additional 25% onto the bill. I wouldnt' go back even if it was free. Nice environment, good bread, food and staff absolutely shocking.

My girlfriends and I went to the 'Couscous Darna' restaurant as a perfect way to celebrate a typical girly night out. Well, despite the cosy look of the place appealed to us, the customer service was absolutely awful. There was this middle aged man serving us and he was extremely rude. He answered to our questions very arrogantly, he then said that we did not have to dine there and he opened the exit door to us and did order us to walk off the place. He also said to be the actual owner of the restaurant. My friends and I were absolutely shocked as that was truly outrageous. It never happen to none of us to be treated as badly as that in any other restaurant in the world. I definitely believe the waiter's behaviour was absolutely unacceptable and discriminatory as none of us attacked him or was aggressive to him and for no reason he should have acted in such a way.
We then went to a lovely Italian restaurant closed by and someone working there confessed to us that many other people went to his place complaining the way they have got treated at the 'Couscous Darna'.
I wander if this rude and grumpy waiter is perhaps contributing to an authentic Moroccan atmosphere that my friends and I were not aware of?!

Couscous Darna is a fab place! The atmosphere is really authentic and the Moroccan food was just sublime. My boyfriend really enjoyed himself and the staff treated us very nicely as it was his birthday. I will definitely be back at Couscous Darna for more of the same soon!
