If their food is as bad as their ethics I strongly recomend you don't go there. I booked our office christmas party in their private room, well in advance of christmas. I offered them a deposit but was told no need and that everything was in place, six weeks later I get a call to say they need their private room for a Tequila sponsor night. The manager said she tried to change the sponsor night but couldn't which left us without a place to go for a christmas party. I strongly disagree with this kind of behaviour it is unprofessional and unethical.

I have sought out reviews sights before inspired to share positive restaurant experiences but never had I been left so disappointed and angry with a restaurant that I felt the need to write a negative review... that is, until last night.

We dined here as a group of 15 to surprise a friend for his birthday and never have I experience such rudeness from a member of waiting staff. Throughout the evening the service was a little half-assed and unfriendly but we received our food and drinks ok. The area we were seated in was tiny and very cramped for the number in our group but despite this we were set to enjoy a nice evening.

The real issue came at the end of the meal, we paid the bill which came to around £450. We all then left the restaurant and were standing at the front ready to leave when the waiter came to the front door and proceeded to insult us (in front of the rest of the diners in the restaurant) for spending £450 and not leaving a tip! We were all completely shocked at having been spoken in this way, particularly as a service charge of 12.5% was included on the bill.

It wouldn’t matter if the food was prepared by a Michelin chef wearing a gold sombrero (which it is not), do your-self a favour and give this one a miss. You don’t deserve to be insulted by the most impertinent restaurant staff in London.

To the owner: It would be advisable to sort out your staff before it ruins your business. From the other reviews I have read we were not the first to experience the wrath of your waiting staff.

I can, unfortunately, only emphasise what the other negative reviews here have said in what was probably the worst experience of a restaurant I've had the displeasure of going to. The food was overpriced, small portions and was only ok in terms of quality. Certainly nothing I'd recommend.

My main problem with Crazy Homies was that I left an expensive umbrella there by mistake and boy do I regret doing that now. Where normal restaurants will at least be civilised people and hold your property for you for a few days until you can come and pick it up, I was given a 48 hour deadline by an extremely rude member of staff who found my umbrella there and although I rang half an hour after leaving the restaurant was told I couldn't come back and get it that night and that I'd have to return again within 48 hours or - in his words - "someone might like the look of it". I asked if he meant that a member of staff might steal it and he didn't deny it. So I called the restaurant again the day after (well within that man's 48 hour deadline!) and the member of staff I spoke to said that they now couldn't find the umbrella, told me there was no point in coming to the restaurant that day and asked me to call back the next day. I called the next day, again, asking where my umbrella was and when I could come and get it, and again, I was told that it couldn't be found. I asked to speak to the manager - they weren't around. I gave my number to be passed to the manager - nobody called. I emailed the manager - nobody replied.

As a group, we spent a lot of money in this awful place that night and I was absolutely appalled at what I found to be not only very unhelpful & rude staff but it is now quite clear someone working there took a shine to my property that night. I have tried in vain many times to get an explanation from the manager and have waited some time for the manager to contact me, but nothing. What an awful experience, avoid at all costs.

I would love to provide a review regarding food on offer at this 'restaurant'. However, after waiting over two hours to be given a table, we decide to go elsewhere.

In fact, anywhere else rather than this place. We arrived at around 4pm on Sunday, and were originally told that we were not able to book a table so we went to a nearby pub and returned later.

We were then told we could book so put our names down. We finally left after another party was given a table ahead of us, and after enquiring why this was, we were told we 'didn't have the right attitude' to eat at the restaurant.

If you enjoy being offended and not fed then I cannot recommend this place enough. However, if you'd rather go out for a meal and eat food, then avoid this place like a sneezing pig.

I love the name of Crazy Homies, it makes me smile, and the venue makes it even bigger with its excellent Mexican food and warm atmosphere. If you’re lloking for a little authenticity in your Mexican then Crazy Homies is the place to be.
